Palmetto General Hospital has appointed Leisha Peters as its new compliance officer. Peters has extensive experience in corporate compliance working in a similar role for the past four years at a children’s hospital in South Florida as an ethics and compliance specialist.
Peters has a certification in health care compliance and health care privacy compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry and her Masters of Health Services Administration from Florida International University.
