The Board of Directors of Pan American Hospital (PAH) recently announced the appointment of Eneida O. Roldan, M.D., MPH, MBA as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pan American Hospital.

Dr. Roldan earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in New York in 1981. She served her residency and fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital. She had her own practice in Miami from 1989 to 2005. In addition, she has a master’s in public health with honors from the University of South Florida and a master’s in business administration with highest honors and distinction from the University of Tennessee. She is a recipient of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society in Business.

Dr. Roldan also belongs to numerous professional associations and has earned many awards including America’s Top Physicians from the Consumer Research Council of America and Outstanding Professional Hispanic Woman from Professional Hispanic Women. Aside from the PAH Board, her civic commitment has extended to several boards and she is currently on the board of the Miami-Dade Public School Department of Food and Nutrition, American Society of Bariatric Medicine, American Public Health Association and Florida Action for Healthy Kids.
