OCTOBER 31, 2022 — Elizabeth P. Perez, the founder of the South Florida-based health law and litigation firm Perez Health Law, announced the addition of veteran health law attorney, Vanessa Reynolds, as Of Counsel.
Reynolds, a Board-Certified Health Law Attorney, joins the firm with more than three decades of healthcare law experience. She has represented both institutional and individual providers in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, licensure, Medicare and Medicaid disputes and risk management. Most recently, she was a partner at the Fort Lauderdale office of Broad and Cassel (now Nelson Mullins), where she worked for more than 12 years.
She was also certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance, is a frequent speaker to healthcare professional groups regarding regulatory compliance and served as an adjunct professor in St. Thomas University’s health care administration master’s degree program. She is a graduate of Broward Executive Leadership Orientation and served on the Executive Leadership Board of Extraordinary Women Leading Change and Executive Leadership Council for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety.
Reynolds earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and healthcare administration from Florida International University and a Juris Doctorate from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
