The Pharmed Group has appointed Bruce Paul Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, announced Jorge de Cespedes, President of Pharmed Group.
A 30-year veteran of the healthcare industry, Paul began his career in 1976 with Baxter Healthcare where he served in various middle and upper management positions until he left in 1990. That year, he began a joint venture with Pharmed named the Central Florida Health Alliance where he served as president and CEO. In 1996, he merged his company with Pharmed and renamed it South Florida Health Alliance and became executive vice president of sales. Paul works closely with the hospitals Pharmed serves in supporting their charitable organizations and internal foundations. Those hospitals include North Broward Hospital, Baptist Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. Paul is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts.
