Phil Fusca and Debra Eddington of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center Nominated As Co-Chairs of the Southeast Florida Cancer Control Collaborative

Aventura Hospital and Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer Heather J. Rohan announced the nomination of Phil Fusca and Debra Eddington as Co-Chairs of the Southeast Florida Cancer Control Collaborative (SFCCC) for 2007-2009.

Phil Fusca, MSW has been the Cancer Care Coordinator for the Aventura Hospital’s Comprehensive Cancer Center since 2001. Prior to joining Aventura Hospital, he worked as a Clinical Social Work Therapist at University Hospital and Medical Center in Tamarac and as a Social Worker III at Florida Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale.

Debra Eddington is the Community Outreach Manager with Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She has been with Aventura Hospital since 2005. Prior to joining Aventura Hospital she worked for the American Cancer Society’s Miami-Dade Office and Southeast Regional Office for ten years.
