Wayne Lee, M.D., FACEP, chief medical officer of Phoenix Physicians was recently appointed to the Broward Regional Health Planning Council for a two-year term by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
Dr. Lee is Chief of Emergency Medicine for the North Broward Hospital District (NBHD) and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He is also active in professional societies and quasi-government organizations such as the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Broward County Medical Association and the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR with a BS in philosophy. He earned his MD from the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.
