Dr. Sara Tano is a board-certified emergency medicine physician on staff at both St. Mary’s and West Boca medical centers. She joined KIDZ Medical in 2022.
Dr. Tano earned her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at Florida International University. She completed her pediatric residency and her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami.
Dr. Tano is board-certified in general pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Florida Atlantic University Schmidt College of Medicine.
Dr. Tano treats both general and higher-acuity pediatric patients of all ages. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
