Plantation General Hospital (PGH) has recently appointed Debbie Marotto as the hospitals new Director of Womens Services.
Debbie comes to PGH from Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada where she was the Labor and Delivery Charge Nurse for 2 years. Prior to working at Southern Hills Hospital, she held the same position at Sunrise Hospital, also in Las Vegas. Debbie began her career with HCA in 1993 as the Nurse Manager of Womens Services and Surgical Services.
She received an Associates Degree from Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, New York. Debbie is currently taking courses towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Indiana State University.
Among her many accomplishments and earned certifications throughout her career with HCA, Debbie is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a Certified Childbirth Educator, Instructor for Neonatal Resuscitation Program and an RN in Outpatient Obstetrics.
