Tyler Sherrill, MBA, is Chief Executive Officer of Florida Coast Medical Center, leading the hospital’s development, operations, and strategic growth ahead of its scheduled opening in September 2025. In this role, Sherrill is responsible for launching the 185,000-square-foot, 54-bed facility in Port St. Lucie, designed to meet the healthcare needs of a rapidly growing community. The hospital will offer a range of specialized services, including emergency care, neurosciences, orthopedics, spine, robotics, general surgery, urology, and advanced cardiac care.
Sherrill brings a strong background in hospital and physician group leadership. Prior to joining Florida Coast Medical Center, he served as CEO of East Cooper Medical Center in South Carolina and previously led Tenet Healthcare’s South Carolina Physician Group. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade with Community Health Systems, most recently as Vice President of Physician Practice Operations. Sherrill earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and his MBA from King University.
