At Quantum Foundation’s first board meeting of the year, Palm Beach resident Mrs. Donna Mulholland assumed the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees for the next two years. Mrs. Mulholland has served as a board member for the local private health foundation since 2008 and has served as Chair of the organization’s Grants Committee since 2000.

Quantum Foundation was formed with the net proceeds from the sale of JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida, and began making grants in 1997. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $125 million to more than 450 grantees in Palm Beach County. The foundation’s assets total approximately $140 million.

“Mrs. Mulholland is an outstanding fit for the foundation’s mission,” said Quantum Foundation President, Eric M. Kelly. “Her knowledge of the healthcare system is vast, combined with her tremendous compassion and personal involvement with numerous local nonprofits we feel we have a true leader and guide for the foundation for the next few years.”

Quantum Foundation also welcomes a new Board member – well-known local pediatrician Dr. Ronald Romear joins the organization as a full trustee after serving for a year on the Grants Committee.

Mrs. Ethel Isaacs Williams assumes the role of Grants Committee Chair with Mr. Daniel Alberttis as Secretary/Treasurer and Mr. Michael Dixon as the Chair of the Finance & Investment Committee.
