HCA East Florida announces the appointment of Robert Lee as CEO of Plantation General Hospital (PGH). Lee has been with HCA’s East Florida Division since 1992 holding various leadership roles in Broward, Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast. Lee comes to PGH from his most recent position as CEO at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida. As CEO of Plantation General Hospital, Lee will oversee the operations of the 264 bed facility which has nearly 10,000 admissions per year and more than 66,000 emergency room visits annually.

Prior to moving to Florida and joining HCA in 1992, Lee started his career in healthcare as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist in New York where he worked at Mount Sinai Astoria General Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from City University of New York, Baruch and MBA from New York Institute of Technology. Brian Melear, CNO at Raulerson Hospital, will now serve as Interim CEO for Raulerson Hospital.
