Robyn Farrington is chief nursing officer at HCA Florida Westside Hospital. Since joining in March 2018, she has helped build a cohesive nursing team focused on high-quality, compassionate and safe patient care.
Farrington began her nursing career in 1998 at Jackson Memorial Hospital–Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, where she worked in step-down and critical care before advancing to trauma program manager. In 2011, she joined Broward Health Medical Center to lead its trauma program and was promoted to chief nursing officer in 2014.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami, where she was named salutatorian, a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, graduating magna cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. Farrington also serves on the advisory boards for Broward College and Galen College of Nursing.
