Julia Shillingford is an experienced nursing leader and the current Director of Nursing at St. Anne’s Nursing Center and Residence, a Catholic Health Services facility in the South Miami area. Her career of more than 20 years with the organization reflects progressive leadership, having served as assistant director of nursing, wound care nurse, admission nurse, nurse manager, educator, and floor nurse. This experience provides her with a strong clinical foundation and a comprehensive understanding of long-term care operations.
Julia is known for her commitment to quality patient care, staff development, and operational excellence. Drawing on her earlier career as a grammar schoolteacher, she brings a unique and innovative approach to education and training. She has played a key role in developing a skills lab that enhances staff competency and confidence. Her leadership continues to strengthen patient outcomes and team performance.
