Tom Minas, MD
 
Dr. Tom Minas is an orthopedic surgeon and cartilage specialist on staff at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute at St. Mary’s Medical Center and the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital. Dr. Minas specializes in joint preservation of the knee with autologous chrondrocyte implantation (ACI), osteochondral allograft transplantation, meniscal transplantation, osteotomies, ligament reconstruction, as well as minimally invasive partial and total knee replacements.   Dr. Minas joined the Paley Institute after 30 years at Harvard Medical School, where he remains Professor Emeritus of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Minas completed a fellowship in joint reconstruction at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, and in traumatology from Sunnybrook Medical Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Minas completed an orthopedics residency at the University of Toronto Medical School and internship at Toronto Western Hospital. He graduated medical school from the University of Toronto Medical School. 
 
Vinay Saxena, MD
 
Dr. Vinay Saxena is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist on staff at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital. Dr. Saxena has been treating patients for more than 20 years, and specializes in diseases of the blood, spleen and lymph glands in children and treats conditions such as anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, leukemia and lymphoma. He received his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College. Dr. Saxena did his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York and completed his fellowship in pediatric hematology oncology at SUNY University Hospital in Brooklyn Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Saxena also serves as the Chief of Staff for St. Mary’s Medical Center and the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.
