Saltz Michelson Architects (SMA) is pleased to announce that one of the firm’s principals, Charles A. Michelson, AIA, has recently become LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited. This Green Building Rating System provides a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings and gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their building’s performance.

With more than twenty-six years of architectural experience, Mr. Michelson specializes in healthcare facilities, medical specialty centers, office buildings, governmental and educational facilities. Maintaining an active role in the planning, design, and production of architectural projects for the firm, Mr. Michelson sought to gain this expertise in order to better serve SMA clients.
