The fifth annual Nursing Leadership Awards, sponsored by the South Florida Organization of Nurse Executives (SFONE), was recently held at the Marriott Miami-Dadeland. SFONE and the North Broward Hospital District’s (NBHD) Chief Nursing Officers Lanie Ward, RN, BSN, MBA, CNAA, BGMC; Kimberley Jutras, RN, MBA, CNAA, BC, CSMC; Mark Sprada, RN, BSN, MBA, IPMC; and Donna Small, RN, BSN, MBA, NBMC, recognized nurse managers who improved their units’ performances in the areas of patient, physician, and staff satisfaction as well as positive patient outcomes.

Imperial Point Medical Center: Eileen Manniste, RN, PCU

North Broward Medical Center: Kelly Pallazza, MSN, RN, CCRN, PCU/NSU/CCU, and Betty Ann Ruditz, RN, PCCU/CCU
