Steven D. Wexner, M.D., Chairman of the Department of Colorectal Surgery, Chief Academic Officer and emeritus Chief of Staff at Cleveland Clinic Florida, has been elected a fellow of the American Surgical Association (ASA).Dr. Wexner is currently President of the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons (ASCRS) and is the immediate past-President of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ABCRS). He is also serving his first three-year term as a representative on the prestigious American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer.
Dr. Wexner is Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, in Boca Raton and Professor and Affiliate Dean for Clinical Education at Florida International University Wertheim College of Medicine in Mia
