Students Become First to Graduate from Barry’s New EMT Certificate Program

After four months of enduring intensive training and attending evening classes, a group of 12 individuals recently became the first to graduate from Barry University’s new Emergency Medical Technology Certificate Program.

The program, which is offered through Barry’s School of Adult and Continuing Education (ACE), gives students the opportunity to earn a certificate as an emergency medical technician (EMT).

The students who became the first to graduate from Barry’s EMT program are Hamid Ajirnia, Tomas Arias, Trudy Beerom, Jesse Cortes, Claude Crevecoeur, Luis DeRosa, Glenn Hubert, Stevenson Lauture, Eduardo Salinas, Kevin Thompson, Jessica Velez and Ronald Voltarie. Pictured are these graduates.
