Werner Andrade, M.D., joins Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) with extensive operating room experience in a wide-range of laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries. Dr. Andrade is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Andrade operates on-staff at both Coral Gables Hospital and Hialeah Hospital.Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Andrade helped direct Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, AZ, in becoming a Bariatric Center. While on-staff as a general and bariatric surgeon at the hospital, he performed general, advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures, including laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery and laparoscopic adjustable gastric band placement.
