The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Names Bishop and Catalfumo to Board of Trustees

Earl L. Denney, President of the Palm Beach Area Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, announced the addition of Mary Bishop and Cara Catalfumo to the Chapter’s Board of Trustees.

Bishop is the Chief Nursing Officer of Jupiter Medical Center and Catalfumo is the Public Relations Coordinator for Catalfumo Construction and Development.

“We are thrilled to have Mary Bishop and Cara Catalfumo join our board,” said Denney. “Bishop brings many years of public service to the community as well as personal interaction with patients dealing with blood cancers. Catalfumo, a Palm Beach County native, is an active young professional who understand the importance of given back to the community she calls home. She most recently ran in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year Campaign and raised over $141,000 in 10 weeks. She has been named the runner-up in the National competition.”

Trustees include: Robert Anderson, John Bulfin, Dr. Robert Burke, Madelyn Christopher, Tim Genecco, Ron Gache, Mary Ann Grant, Yvonne Jarvis, Kevin Justice, Michael Ludwig, Geralyn Lunsford, Suzy Minkoff, Arlene Monti, Jeannine Morris, Patrick Quinlan, Dr. Melissa Singer, Pat Swasey, and Antoinette Theodossakos.
