Holistic Lifestyle Brand Blends Super Foods & Fundraising for Healthcare Workers

April 28 2020 – Karla Dascal, the wellness entrepreneur behind holistic lifestyle brand The Sacred Space Miami, is mobilizing teams at Plant Miami and Paradise Farms to provide local frontline healthcare professionals with nutritionally-dense meals.

The plant-based bowls, crafted by Plant Miami’s award-winning Executive Chef Horacio Rivadero and Chef Veronica Manolizi, are packed with farm-harvested super food ingredients, known for their powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties–like kale, ginger, mushrooms and fresh herbs. The inspired selection of bowls includes:
LOVE WINS: brown rice, quinoa, sesame broccoli, avocado, lemongrass chickpea, sesame almonds, kale, micro greens and ginger tahini dressing
FIND PEACE: Basmati rice pilaf, black lentils, walnuts, baby green, golden raisins, masala roasted carrots, citrus fennel, mint, sesame mustard dressing and paradise blend
FULL OF HOPE: toasted pepitas, red cabbage, quinoa, cherry tomatoes, ginger mushrooms, avocado, baby arugula, romaine, cashew parmesan, Cesar dressing and paradise blend

A fundraising campaign, launched by Dascal through GoFundMe, is utilizing 100 percent of proceeds to fund meal creation and expand delivery coordination throughout hospitals across South Florida. The program kicked off with three days of deliveries to the UHealth Tower at the University of Miami Health System.
