Three doctors have been added to the Holy Cross Medical Group.

Michel Velez, M.D., is an affiliate assistant professor of clinical biomedical science at Florida Atlantic University and assistant professor at Florida International University, Dr. Velez comes to Holy Cross from Memorial Healthcare System. He was chief fellow at 

Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he completed his hematology-oncology fellowship. Dr. Velez completed his internal medicine residency at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine at JFK Medical Center and Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
 
Dellene Troy, D.O., completed medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by a traditional rotating internship. She then completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York University 

Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, followed by a fellowship in interventional sports and spine medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
 
Jose Elias Collado Peralta, M.D., joins Holy Cross from the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio where he has been working in their advanced heart failure cardiology program. He graduated magna cum laude with his medical degree from Universidad Catolica Madre Y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. He served as a research assistant at New York Presbyterian before joining the Cleveland Clinic in Florida, where he served as chief resident of internal medicine and then chief cardiology fellow.
