Offering physicians ease of practice is of the utmost importance. We have invested a lot into new technology to help our physicians track and follow their patients at the hospital even if they are not on campus. The technology allows our doctors to monitor their patients from home, office or any remote location. Our technology is also mobile compatible and allows doctors to access diagnostic results from their smart phones or iPhones. When you make it easy for a physician to work with your hospital a positive relationship will surely follow.
Honesty plays a big role in physician relations “Under promise and over deliver” is a motto that has worked for us. If there is something that I cant do, I am honest and upfront with my physicians so there is never a false sense of promise on an issue.
We also work to support our physicians communities and work to promote ethnic diversity in our hospital. We plan various internal events such as cultural festivals where our physicians and medical staff participate in sharing food, music, clothing and other unique aspects of their heritage.
Having a strong sense of community is also key. Our physicians communities are important to us we get involved. When bringing a new physician to our facility, it is important that the physician is a good fit with our community. He/She and their family should be happy with the choice that was made.
