Jane Tuthill, a more than thirty-year veteran of Broward General Medical Center, has been named Interim Chief Executive Officer of the 716-bed hospital.

Tuthill has 32 years of healthcare experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in health service administration. She began her career at Broward General in 1975 as a registered nurse. While completing her education, her career continued to advance with her service as assistant director of nursing, director of nursing, director of cancer services and most recently, administrator of the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Chris Evert Children’s Hospital and Heart Center of Excellence.
