New health center offers primary care, dental, counseling and more, seven days a week
June 1, 2022 – Continuing its commitment to making quality healthcare more convenient, accessible, and affordable for customers across the country, Walmart Health is set to expand into Tampa, beginning in the Wesley Chapel region.
The new Walmart Health center, located adjacent to the Supercenter at 28500 State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel, will deliver primary and urgent care, labs, x-ray and diagnostics, behavioral health and counseling, dental, optical, and hearing services all in one facility using a transparent pricing model. To match the schedules of busy families, the health centers will offer care seven days a week with weekend and evening hours as well as telehealth options on Sundays.
Attending the grand opening on June 7, 2022 will be Walmart Health representatives, health professionals, and local officials Andrea Marks, Vice President, Clinical Performance, Walmart Health & Wellness and Chandra Amin, Center Administrator, Walmart Health.
