Wellington Regional Medical Center was proud to announce the successful completion of its 5,000th robotic surgical case, marking a significant milestone in the hospital’s ongoing commitment to providing advanced surgical care to the community. This achievement highlighted the dedication of its surgical team and the hospital’s investment in cutting-edge medical technology.
The 5,000th robotic surgery was performed by Kyle Eldredge, D.O., of Advanced Surgical Physicians, utilizing the state-of-the-art da Vinci® Surgical Systems from Intuitive. These advanced systems offer surgeons enhanced precision, dexterity, and control, enabling minimally invasive procedures that often result in less pain, reduced blood loss, and faster recovery times for patients.
