Zalaznik Appointed to Growing Executive Ranks at VITAS Innovative Hospice Care®

Mary Zalaznik has been promoted to vice president of hospice program resources at VITAS Innovative Hospice Care®.

Zalaznik began her VITAS career more than 20 years ago, serving as an admissions coordinator, a customer service manager, a director of customer service for the Southeast region, director of admissions and intake, and, most recently, the general manager of all call centers nationally.

During her tenure, Zalaznik has twice been recognized by VITAS with national awards. She was named the Outstanding Admissions Coordinator in 1992 and she received the President’s Award for Excellence in Management 2000. She is credited with the development of various staff position performance indicators and an improved management structure for the customer service department.
