Barbara “Bobbie” Rostock, of Pompano Beach, was recently named Holy Cross Hospitals 2007-2008 Volunteer of the Year. Bobbie joined Holy Cross as a Volunteer in March 2003 and this year received a Service Award for 4,500 hours.

Those who work with Bobbie describe her as a self-directed, self-motivated Volunteer. A Eucharistic Minister in the Spiritual Care Department, Bobbie gradually took on increasing responsibility assisting Sister Claudia Steger with the scheduling of the Volunteers who serve in Spiritual Care. Because of her gracious help and leadership ability Bobbie was appointed as Chairperson for Spiritual Care.
