The road to becoming a physician includes extensive training and development. Medical students from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine will embark on their next medical journey at Bethesda Hospital East, the flagship hospital of Bethesda Health, Inc.

Bethesda is providing the clinical setting for 12 Nova medical students during their third year of medical school. Bethesda has trained Nova medical students for the past ten years. The students will have one- and two-month rotations with members of Bethesda’s Medical Staff in both hospital and office settings. The areas of rotation include Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatric Inpatient and Outpatient Units, Pediatrics and Adult Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Geriatrics and Rural Medicine. The Director of Medical Education for Nova at Bethesda is Bruce B. Peters, D.O., FACOP, FAAP.
