Vanessa Reynolds, Of Counsel with the statewide law firm Broad and Cassel and a Florida Bar Board-Certified Health Law Attorney, recently became certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC). Awarded by the Health Care Compliance Association’s Compliance Certification Board (CCB), the designation requires significant relevant experience and successful completion of at least 20 hours of approved continuing education, followed by a comprehensive examination.
 
Reynolds is the first Broad and Cassel health law attorney to earn the CHPC® designation and joins only 450 compliance professionals across the country who are certified. 
 
An industry veteran with more than 20 years of health law experience, Reynolds focuses her practice on assisting health care facilities operate within an ever-changing legal environment. She assists hospitals, surgical centers, hospices and other licensed medical facilities and practitioners with matters related to health care operations. She understands the intricacies involved in licensure, regulatory compliance, agency investigations, and third party reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid appeals and other compliance issues.
