The University of Southernmost Florida (USmF) will be hosting their third installment of its "Insights on Success" Speaker Series on June 4 from 5-7 p.m. at the Coral Gables Museum. The panel of speakers includes Florida Senator Oscar Braynon, State Representative Holly Raschein and Political Consultant Bob Levy. Don Slesnick, Dean of the USmF School of Public Administration and former Mayor of Coral Gables will act as moderator for the panel. President of USmF, Former Chief Learning Officer for GE and Goldman Sachs, Dr. Steve Kerr, will serve as host for the interactive discussion.
This particular panel will discuss why they chose to become public servants, how they reached their goals and what their goals are going forward. The discussion is meant to be an interactive session on the career choices of people who work in public administration, for anyone interested in learning more about the field. The audience will also be able to participate in a lively question and answer session with their local legislators.
A reception in the museum’s courtyard with food and drinks will precede the panel discussion. The event is open to the public, but RSVP is required. Please contact Yohana Ravelo at yravelo@USMF.edu for more information.
