Broward Health held its 11th annual Construction Diverse Vendor Open House on March 6th as part of its commitment to ensure that all sectors of the diverse business community have access to the healthcare system’s procurement opportunities.

About 150 attendees received a crash course in Broward Health’s construction services process at its Fort Lauderdale corporate offices. Broward Health leaders joined representatives from various departments, including the hospital’s design and construction team, its corporate facility management team and its supply chain team. Additional guidance on business development and other related resources was provided by the healthcare system’s local strategic supplier diversity partners Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council and the Women’s Business Development Council of Florida.
