Decemebr 2 2019 – Broward Health Imperial Point has named Randy Gross its new CEO. Gross, who has held executive leadership roles in healthcare for more than 20 years, will be tasked with leading the community hospital as it expands its cardiac, orthopedic and surgical programs.
Gross will also be responsible for the overall leadership of the 200-bed acute care hospital, which offers medical-surgical inpatient care, behavioral health services and a wide variety of outpatient services. He will direct Broward Health Imperial Point’s overall administration and related regional operations to ensure quality patient care and service in collaboration with Broward Health’s executive team.
“Randy is a strategic and thoughtful leader who brings decades of administration experience to Broward Health Imperial Point,” said Alan Goldsmith, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Broward Health. “His extensive knowledge in the South Florida healthcare space will bring invaluable insight, leading to even greater success for Broward Health.”
Gross comes to Broward Health Imperial Point from HCA Healthcare’s Kendall Regional Medical Center, where he most recently held the role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Staffing Officer and directed almost 3,000 employees and caregivers. Prior to that role he was Chief Executive Officer of the 264-bed Plantation General Hospital, which saw volume growth under his leadership. Gross also was Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer at both Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas, and Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
Gross completed his education at Xavier University, graduating with a BS/BA in accounting and a dual master’s degree in business administration and health services administration. He is a current member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
