Ahmed Behairy, M.D., is a hematologist/oncologist who recently joined Broward Health Physician Group. He treats patients at Broward Health Medical Center and specializes in adult cancer, adult blood disorders, adult blood cancers, and coagulation. After practicing medicine for more than 30 years, Dr. Behairy is passionate about serving patients with empathy and compassion.
Dr. Behairy received his medical degree from the Ain Shams University School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, and his hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He is a professional member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
