March 5 2020 – Broward Health welcomes William E. Green as executive director of its community health services. In his new role, Green will be responsible for the operations of primary care, medical, surgical and cardiac products lines, imaging centers, and urgent care centers.

With more than 25 years of health care administration experience, Green most recently served as the special projects administrator at the Broward County Human Services Department’s Community Partnership Division.

“We’re pleased to welcome William to the Community Health Services family,” said Heather Woolf, vice president of ambulatory services for Broward Health. “We expect that his experience and passion for the community will help us enhance the care Broward Health provides to our patients.”

Broward Health’s Community Health Services division provides high quality, affordable healthcare and is the medical safety net for Broward County residents residing in the northern two-thirds of the county. The caregivers consistently go beyond the clinic walls to reach some of the community’s most vulnerable people.

Green received his bachelor’s degree and a master of social work from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
