Martha Sommovigo has been a case manager in the Memorial Healthcare System for more than 13 years and is more focused than ever on the individuals who look to her for guidance.
“I believe every patient deserves a dedicated advocate to help them navigate the complexities of healthcare and I’m committed to being that advocate,” said Sommovigo. “My passion for this role continues to grow.”
Sommovigo says communication and organization are critically important to ensure patients and families feel supported, informed, and empowered while connected to the hospital. Part of that is delivering a seamless, personalized care plan for each that includes both healthcare providers and community resources. Her ultimate goal and reward? To be a trusted resource for patients every step of their healthcare journey while also living Memorial Miramar’s mission to provide compassionate, holistic care to the community.
