Columbia Hospital is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2006 Frist Humanitarian Awards. The Frist Humanitarian Awards recognize one employee and one volunteer at each HCA-affiliated facility who demonstrate extraordinary concern for the welfare and happiness of patients and their community. Michele Delarue, Office Coordinator of the Department of Aquatics and Rehab, was honored because of her many fundraising efforts to help families in need as well as supporting a variety of non-profit charitable organizations.
Irma Jarvis was the Columbia Hospital volunteer selected in recognition of her outstanding dedication and assistance to the hospitals Center for Breast Care. In addition to volunteering at Columbia Hospital, Irma assists at community health fairs and visits a variety of nursing homes.
