Coral Springs Medical Center Appoints New Chief of Staff

Coral Springs Medical Center (CSMC) announces the appointment of Mark S. Shachner, M.D., F.A.C.S. as Chief of Staff.

Dr. Shachner currently serves as Medical Director of the Women’s Diagnostic & Wellness Center. Prior to his election as Chief of Staff, Dr. Shachner served as Secretary Treasurer and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at CSMC. He holds board certification in surgery.

After earning a bachelor of arts & sciences from Cornell University, Dr. Shachner later received his medical degree from Yale University. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery from the Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shachner’s academic appointments include Assistant Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University’s Department of Surgery.
