Heart disease and stroke are the world’s leading causes of death, claiming 18.6 million lives each year.  World Heart Day (9/29/22) is a global campaign during which individuals, families, communities, and governments around the world participate in activities to take charge of their heart health and that of others.

In honor of World Heart Day, Delray Medical Center is offering free community heart screenings. The screenings include blood pressure, BMI (body mass index) and cholesterol, including Lipid profiles.  Cholesterol results include cholesterol, triglycerides and HDL/LDL cholesterol ratio.  Fasting is recommended after midnight.  Results will be mailed.
