James Benenati, M.D., was recently named the 2010-2011 President for the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). Dr. Benenati is an interventional radiologist and medical director for the Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory at Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute. He is also the program director for the Institute’s interventional radiology fellowship program and a clinical associate professor of radiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
In addition to serving as president of SIR, Dr. Benenati is the president of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories.
