Dr. Chet Evans, Vice President of Medical Affairs and Program Development at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Bradenton campus, has been appointed to the Florida Diabetes Advisory Council by Gov. Charlie Crist.
The Diabetes Advisory Council advises the Governor and the Department of Health Secretary on emerging diabetes issues effecting care, treatment, and quality of life. The guidance of and recommendations made by the Council improves policy and legislation efforts, as well as influences the strategic planning of the Diabetes Control Program.
