Sunrise Medical Group (SMG) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Hassan Batayneh, a triple board-certified and fellowship-trained neurologist, to the SMG network. Dr. Batayneh specializes in epilepsy, sleep disorders and studies, neuromuscular disorders, EEG/EMG studies, intraoperative monitoring, evoked potential studies and clinical neurophysiology. His practice is based in Tamarac and he is on staff at Florida Medical Center, a campus of North Shore.
Prior to joining SMG, Dr. Batayneh served as a hospitalist at both Maryvale Hospital and Paradise Valley Hospital in Phoenix, AZ and as a staff physician at Physicians’ Medical Center of the Ozarks, Mountain Home, AR. He completed fellowships in both neurophysiology and sleep medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Prior to his fellowship training, Dr. Batayneh completed a neurology residency program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH and internal medicine residencies at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center, and Jordanian University Hospital in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Batayneh graduated medical school from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan.
