Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to announce Dr. Arif Dalvi, an expert neurologist and movement disorders specialist, joined the Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute (PBNI). Dr. Dalvi is leading the development of the Comprehensive Movement Disorders Center at PBNI. At his PBNI office and on-staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Dr. Dalvi specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and care of Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He is a nationally recognized expert on deep brain stimulator programming for Parkinson’s disease and tremor. His areas of interest also include Botox for dystonia, spasticity, migraine, and sialorrhea. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been practicing medicine since 1990.

Prior to joining PBNI, Dr. Dalvi was the director of the Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders Program at the Methodist Hospital Neuroscience Institute in Merrillville, Indiana. His professional experience includes caring for patients as a neurologist in the Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders Program at the NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, IL. Dr. Dalvi’s academic appointments include associate professor of neurology and director of the neurology residency program at the University of Chicago and the University of Cincinnati.
