Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) recently welcomed 15 new third- and fourth-year medical students from The Florida State University College of Medicine. It is the ninth year IRMC has participated in the educational program.
Medical students shadow physicians both in and out of the hospital to learn clinical knowledge as well as the beauty of building relationships with the community. Approximately half pursue primary care specialties (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and OB/GYN).
