Florida International Universitys (FIU) College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) today announced the appointment of two nursing faculty members and a new program director. The announcement was made by Dean Divina Grossman.
Randall Roark joins the CNHS Nursing faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor. He was most recently a nursing professor at Samuel Merritt College and a cardiology nurse practitioner at Kaiser Medical Center, both in San Francisco.
Dr. Liwliwa Liw R. Villagomeza has been promoted to Nursing Program Director at the Biscayne Bay Campus. She previously served as an adjunct clinical professor and instructor for the Tampa Bay cohort of students enrolled in FIUs award-winning Foreign-Educated Physician to Nursing program .
Ali Marie Galindo was named Clinical Assistant Professor in the Nursing Program. She was most recently an adjunct professor and Clinical Supervisor for the Maternal Child Nursing program at FIU. Galindos career includes experience as a labor and delivery nurse and educator at Mercy Hospital, Doctors Hospital and Memorial Hospital West. She has also served as a maternal child nursing adjunct professor at Barry University and Nova Southeastern University.
