Garry E. Ikola, senior vice president of City Furniture and Ashley Furniture, was elected treasurer of Hospice by the Sea, Inc. Board of Directors and chairman of the boards finance committee. He has served on the board since 2008 and also serves on the board of directors of Hospice by the Sea Foundation, Inc.
Ikola has been with City Furniture since its founding 30 years ago and is involved in many furniture industry-based organizations.
He received the Spirit of Life Award from the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center for his fundraising efforts and is a supporter of Covenant House Florida in Ft. Lauderdale and St. Joan of Arc Church and School in Boca Raton.
