True to its organizational culture, Memorial Healthcare System recently promoted three employees from within its organization to lead two of its hospitals and the up and coming area of Business Development and Physician Relations.
J.E. Piriz, Senior Vice President, Memorial Healthcare System, formerly the Senior Vice President of East Operations and CEO of Memorial Regional Hospital. In Piriz’s new role, he will oversee the following areas: Memorial Physician Divisions (all employed physicians), Business Development and Physician Relations, Construction and Property Management, Memorial Primary Care, Memorial Home Health, and Memorial Manor Nursing Home.
Zeff Ross, FACHE, Senior Vice President and CEO of Memorial Regional Hospital, formerly the Senior Vice President of West Operations and interim CEO of Memorial Hospital Pembroke. In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Memorial Regional Hospital and for the executive oversight of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Memorial Regional Hospital South.
Leah Carpenter, R.N., Administrator and CEO, Memorial Hospital Pembroke, formerly Chief Nursing Officer of Memorial Hospital Miramar. Carpenter will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Memorial Hospital Pembroke and Memorial Urgent Care Center.
