Professor Linda Wunder, Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology Nursing at Florida International University College of Nursing and Health Sciences (FIU CNHS), has been named the 2012 Florida American Nurses Association (ANA) Fellowship and American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Foundation Doctoral Fellow by the AANA Foundation.Professor Wunder, MSN, CRNA, who will complete her doctoral study and receive a PhD in Nursing this fall, is an accomplished researcher. In her dissertation research, she examined the role of non-technical skills training in simulation-based nurse anesthesia education, an area where little research has been done. Her goal is to better inform the educational community regarding best practices in simulation-based non-technical skills education. This recognition by the AANA Foundation will help her to complete her research and share her work with the healthcare community.
