November 9, 2022 – Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group (PBHNPG) – Cardiovascular Care is pleased to announce a cardiology group practice with five experienced cardiologists, has joined the PBHNPG multispecialty physician group in Boca Raton. The cardiologists joining PBHNPG – Cardiovascular Care include Jay F. Baker, MD, Steven M. Coletti, MD, Ronald M. Gabor, MD, Constance D. Fields, MD and David S. Funt, MD. All of the cardiologists are on-staff at Delray Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center.
Dr. Jay F. Baker is board-certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Baker specializes in preventive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, hypertension, coronary heart disease, exercise physiology, lipid screenings, baseline cardiac evaluations, as well as congestive heart failure and chest pain evaluations. An experienced cardiologist, Dr. Baker has been practicing cardiology in Boca Raton since 1993. Additionally, Dr. Baker also holds the distinction of Castle Connolly Top Doctor. For his education and training, Dr. Baker completed a fellowship in cardiology and cardiac catheterization from New York Medical College located in Valhalla, NY, In addition, Dr. Baker finished his internal medicine residency at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine located in Bronx, NY. Dr. Baker graduated medical school from New York Medical College.
Dr. Steven Coletti is board-certified in cardiology with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Coletti specializes in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and lipid treatments. For his education and training, Dr. Coletti completed a fellowship, residency and internship in internal medicine from the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Coletti graduated medical school from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Coletti holds the distinction of Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2010.
Dr. Ronald M. Gabor is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Gabor specializes in preventive cardiology, valvular heart disease and heart failure. A proficient cardiologist, Dr. Gabor has practiced cardiology in Boca Raton since 1999. Additionally, Dr. Gabor also holds the distinction of Castle Connolly Top Doctor. For his education and training, Dr. Gabor completed a fellowship in cardiology from the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. In addition, Dr. Gabor completed an internal medicine residency and internship from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, East Campus located in Bronx, NY. Dr. Gabor graduated medical school from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Gabor is trilingual in French, Hungarian and English.
Dr. Constance D. Fields is board-certified in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Fields specializes in preventive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, hypertension, coronary heart disease, exercise physiology, lipid screenings, baseline cardiac evaluations, as well as congestive heart failure and chest pain evaluations. She has practiced cardiology in the Boca Raton community since 1993. Additionally, Dr. Fields holds the distinction and honor of being a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 1999, and in addition, earning the Exceptional Women in Medicine award in 2020 and 2021. For her education and training, Dr. Fields completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology and research cardiology from Tufts-New England Medical Center, Boston, MA. In addition, Dr. Fields finished an internal medicine internship and residency from Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center located in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Fields graduated medical school from Northwestern University Medical School, in Chicago.
Dr. David S. Funt is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in preventive cardiology. An expert in cardiovascular disease, Dr. Funt has practiced cardiology in the Boca Raton area for over three decades. For his education and training, Dr. Funt completed a fellowship in cardiology at Boston University Medical Center, located in Boston, MA. In addition, Dr. Funt finished an internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Funt graduated medical school from New York University School of Medicine.
Prior to joining PBHPNG – Cardiovascular Care, this team of cardiologists worked at Holy Cross Medical Group (HCMG) Cardiology Associates of Boca Raton.
