Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to announce Dr. Vanitha Vasudevan, a General and Oncological Surgeon, has opened an office on the campus of Palmetto General Hospital at the Center for Advanced Surgical Oncology. Dr. Vasudevan specializes in general, minimally invasive and oncological surgery.
Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Vasudevan completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Miami – Palm Beach Regional Campus/ JFK Medical Center. She completed her Internship in the Department of Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. In addition, Dr. Vasudevan has completed a General Surgery residency at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India and Pediatric Surgery residency at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. Dr. Vasudevan graduated medical school from the Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India.
